In the beginning...

If you're reading this, then that means you have taken an interest in my book. I say book, but there's a good chance it may be multiple books by now. In any case, at the time of me writing this, I'm just an amateur writer who got inspired to write some high fantasy. I admit it's not my first venture in writing, I've tried my hand at science fiction and historical fiction in the past, but this time I wanted to delve into high fantasy.

In any case, thank you for coming to the website and reading my blog, if I decide to continue using a blog, I'll be periodically updating it with new tidbits of lore, chapters, and lots of content hopefully.

My hope is that, at least for Zenarok, it be split into several books. The first book will have multiple continuations then will finally come to an end. After that, while the stories will remain told through the perspective of the All-Seer, I'd like for there to be sequels and prequels detailing the stories of other characters, related to the first perhaps, but maybe not. The details of what will take place in the prequels, sequels, and side stories are up in the air currently.

I wanted to quickly rattle off a few goals I have in mind for Zenarok, but these goals may change or apply to other books I try writing in the future.

1. I would like Zenarok to remain accessible to anyone, meaning that I want at least the first book to be free to read online. Now, for printed books, that's likely impossible, but at least for the people who want to give my series a try, they should be able to read for free without purchasing anything.

2. I'd like to make lore pages/books and resources for citing different aspects of the world. Think of like a Wiki page for all things Zenarok-related. How I plan to go about that isn't confirmed yet, but in the future, I will make that available somehow.

3. Sequels and prequels will mostly be made once the current story is concluded of course, maybe even some side stories. All of that kind of depends on what kind of feedback I get. Feedback is crucial to me, even if all you have to say about the stories is that you like them. If there's a certain aspect of Zenarok you really enjoy, tell me about it. I'd love to write a book entirely from the perspective of my fan's favorite character, or about the people of a certain group, race, or location. Hell, I'd even write a book entirely about the animals and creatures of Zenarok if that's what people wanted.

4. Assets of all kinds, no matter how big or small are greatly appreciated. Want to write music for the website? I'm interested. What to draw me some art of a character you like? I'm interested. Just really like the series and want to help me out so I can keep writing? That's all great too. That all being said, I can't promise I can do much in return, I'm a writer, and I'm not wealthy enough to pay people for their work (yet) but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate what my fans do.

That's all I can really think of for now. As I said, this isn't all set in stone, but these are the thoughts I have currently. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my work.
