The World of Zenarok
In the far unfathomable future, Earth as we know it will end, it's a truth that we have known for a long time. The thought crosses many minds, but most quickly realize it's something that will take place long after all else we already know has ceased existing. That is where Zenarok lies, beyond anyone's concern or concept of time.

Zenarok's similarities to Earth begin with its location. The stars an Earthling looks to are the same that the beings of Zenarok look to. Earth is also home to humans, the very same humans who created the language in which this story is being delivered. Humans are the most prominent race on Zenarok too, and perhaps it’s in that similarity that one can relate to the people of this world. It's thought that the one who created Zenarok was once a human from Earth before somehow reaching a higher being and creating the world of Zenarok. The world of Zenarok got its name from that very creator, who named it after himself. Moreover, when placing life on Zenarok, he chose to put humans like those seen in the past on Earth, but that wasn't all that he remembered. The world of Zenarok's many facets resemble Earth's histories and even the realms of fiction humans once created and depicted.
So of course he chose to base Zenarok on Earth, a planet whose history is vast and long. Earth is Zenarok’s humble origin. When Zenarok came into existence, it was always clear that it would be inspired by Earth. From the beginning, there were small creatures, born in the water drifting through the sea, until they climbed upon the land, and grew in size, centuries at a time. We know now that indeed evolution was the origin of life on Earth and so it too passed onto Zenarok. The creatures grew bigger yet, and the cycle of life kept turning and changing until creatures walked land like the dinosaurs who grew into existence. The dinosaurs begat warm mammals who survived the cold and ice, and they begat nimble anthropoids who hunted and used tools, and even they begat intelligent man, who survived through cunning and language. The beings of Earth and the beings of Zenarok looked upon the same sun, the same stars, only time separated them.
All sorts of species live on Zenarok real to fiction, from humans to dinosaurs; birds, fish, dragons, unicorns, ogres, elves, dwarves, orcs, giants, and golems alike. Fabled creatures are no more strange than any other being. The world is vast, and its many locations and facets are not that unlike those found on Earth. Cold dark winters where the sun never shines where even the warmest animals and creatures cannot inhabit. While the searing sun cooks dirt and sand and dust to barren nothing, forever unbearable and just as uninhabitable in another. Zenarok, the planet where you can see almost anything you can imagine, and yet more still that are yet undiscovered.
Across all periods of Earth’s history all in one place, all at the same time. Machines walk among the first men, and dinosaurs hunt each other just as much as they do farm livestock and other prey like any other predator. Demons are not fables, nor angels. Gods exist and are worshiped not just historically and through faith, but in the flesh, live for all to see too. The undead and other creatures of the night walk this planet too, some who can never die, immortals and cursed beings walk Zenarok too. Animals of all kinds, living all too short lives, only to be born to procreate another generation. Man-made amalgamations, like chimeras, homunculi, and monsters of nightmares. Yes in this world, there is nothing too outlandish to be considered fiction.
Even the structures and terrain would seem illusory to an Earthling. Mountains, plains, forests, jungles, deserts, tundra, and taiga are all present like those of Earth. There are those living in the sea in underwater castles and cities. Those living in the sky, standing upon clouds like they were floating islands, along with flying creatures who dominate above. Those living in the harshest possible weather, where water boils, or where both air and seemingly time itself freezes. Those living where the sun cannot reach, deep beyond the first layer of rock on the surface, inside deep networks of tunnels leading to cities made of dirt, mud, stone, and beautifully polished gems.
While inspired by the imagination and histories of Earth, Zenarok was created as a rebirthing of all things, a tribute to its creator’s memories. The reasoning for its creation is shrouded in mystery, and furthermore what keeps it going without rupturing into chaos is, even more, an enigmatic mystery to most who live there.
